How Apple iphones and ipads could be affected?

After the post we added about Software Updates and Windows Updates, we were asked if Apple products need updates.

We have taken this out of the original post. All products should be updated when the manufacturer issues a security fix.

The issue for most is determining which option do I click on and how often should I carry out these steps. Some of our tech will update automatically, but some do require the owners to click on a few prompts.
